‘Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo’ Wins National TV Ratings
Teen star-turned-sexy actress Bangs Garcia has quickly become a household name among TV viewers, here and abroad, through ABS-CBN’s afternoon ‘OFW-serye’ “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo” as her character Mia proudly fights for the married man that she truly loves.
Proof of the growing audience of the show is the data of Kantar Media where the episode last June 6 that featured the much-awaited confrontation among Mia, Sarah (Shaina Magdayao), and Paul (JakeCuenca), garnered a national TV rating of 13.3%, beating its rivalprogram in GMA, “Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka?” which only got 12.8%.
Contrary to what others expected, Bang’s character in the show gets more determined even after the heated altercation. Can Sarah die down the fighting spirit of Mia who is now more determined to win back Paul’s love?

2012 Gawad Pasado Best Supporting Actress for Segunda Mano
Congratulations to our Bangs for winning the 2012 Gawad Pasado Best Supporting Actress Award (PINAKAPASADOng Katuwang na Aktres) for SEGUNDA MANO!
The award was announced at the 14th Gawad Pasado 2011 presscon held on April 13, 2012 at National Teachers College in Quiapo, Manila.

BANGS GARCIA BOUNCES BACK!
SI BANGS Garcia ang isa sa mga morena actresses sa bakuran ng ABS-CBN na masa-sabi mong may ibubuga in terms of beauty, sexiness and talent combined. Nag-umpisa ito bilang isang print ad model at kalauna’y pinasok ang showbiz sa pamamagitan ng teen show na ‘Let’s Go’. Sa programa ring ito nag-umpisa sina Alex Gonzaga, Joem Bascon at Charee Pineda.
More than three years ago ay buong tapang na sumabak si Bangs Garcia sa pagpapa-sexy sa iba’t ibang panlalaking magasin. Dahil dito, naging leading lady siya ni Jake Cuenca sa programang Palos. May mga tsika pa nga na nagkadebelopan daw ang dalawa. Later on, naging calendar girl na rin ang bebot para sa isang produkto ng alak at nagbida pa sa panghapong drama na ‘Magkano ang Iyong Dangal?’.
Very promising na sana ang path to stardom ni Bangs Garcia nang biglaan itong tumamlay. Anyare?! Sa totoo lang, hindi namin masyadong naramdaman ang presence niya last year except nang gampanan niya ang nakakalokang sidekick role sa Segunda Mano. Mas napansin nga ang OA but charming acting niya kaysa sa mga bida, ‘noh!
Anyway, Bangs Garcia is back in Jake Cuenca’s arms sa bagong teleseryeng ‘Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo’. Kinunan pa talaga sa Doha, Qatar ang nasabing palabas kaya bonggang comeback ito! Si Shaina Magdayao ang makakasalo nila sa lead title at in fairness, intense ang batuhan ng linya ng tatlo base sa trailer na inilabas kamakailan lang.
Pasok din si Bangs sa isang Cinemalaya film at balita rin namin na nagkaroon ito ng isang exhibit kamakailan, kung saan featured ang mga paintings niya. Artist na artist ang dating!
Ngayon na muling sumisigla ang takbo ng karera ng dalaga, wish lang namin ay magtuluy-tuloy na ito. Time to bounce back, Bangs!
